Dear travelers, collaborators, and friends,
The COVID-19 pandemic has created a new, intense and unprecedented situation to which we all need to comply. This new reality imposes a series of additional hygiene and safety precautionary measures. To our hotel, the advocacy of public health is the top priority. At the moment, our primary target is to ensure the safety and the health of our visitors, of our employees and our colleagues and of the local community in general. To that end, we are working hard in order to provide a safe holiday and relaxing environment along with the highest possible booking flexibility concerning your vacation planning.
Until now Crete has been a safe destination with only a few COVID-19 cases and we hope this will not change in the near future. We monitor carefully the progress of COVID-19 spread in Greece, and particularly in Crete, and we follow the official instructions issued by the World Health Organization, the Greek legislation, and the local authorities.
We have been working hard for several weeks now in the most efficient way so as to welcome you to a safe and sound atmosphere. At the same time, we have created this online page with guidelines, which will be updated constantly, that will serve you to new guide operations as soon as we reopen post-COVID.
HYGIENE & SAFETY PREVENTATIVE MEASURES
We inform you that our hotel is in the process of compliance with the new health protocols and within a few days we expect the official certification. Therefore, we feel it is important to reach out to you the actions we are taking to keep our facilities safe:
- We have appointed a health coordination team to manage our COVID-19 plan. The team will also supervise the safe and unhindered function of our hotel and will guide the staff, in case an issue arises, based on the new protocols.
- We have appointed a coordinator doctor who will supervise and act based on the new health protocols.
- All our staff has been trained effectively according to the guides issued by the World Health Organization and the National hygiene protocols.
- All our staff has been given the necessary respiratory hygiene equipment.
- We have appointed a certified cleaning company to ensure the highest hygiene fortification of our hotel.
RECEPTION HALL
We are pleased to announce that we have applied the online check-in process.
Check-in time: 15.00
Check-out time: 11.00
Additional preventative measures:
- All key cards are disinfected before delivering.
- The reception hall is equipped with hand sanitizers and personal protective equipment (respiratory masks and gloves).
- All the collaborators will be entering the hotel after undergoing thermal screening and prior communication with the hotel reception.
- The reception hall will be sanitized twice a day with a steam cleaner.
COMMON SPACES & HOUSEKEEPING
To ensure the highest safety of guests and employees, we follow enhanced disinfection and deep cleaning practices. More specifically:
- We apply meticulous cleaning and very good room ventilation after checkouts.
- Housekeeping staff is trained to clean and disinfect the rooms according to the new hygiene protocols.
- All rooms are equipped with a stable hand sanitization device.
- All disinfectants that we use are approved for their effectiveness by the National Organization for Medicines.
- Based on the new hygiene protocols, we inform you that the change of linen (sheets, pillowcases and towels) will be carried out only upon guests’ request.
The information mentioned above can be revised anytime in case of new data issued.
WATER SAFETY AND LEGIONELLA PREVENTION
To prevent Legionella outbreaks and to maintain the highest level of water quality:
- All water systems have been fully flushed and checked for the correct level of disinfection.
- Water has been subject to chemical analysis and laboratory testing.
